    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing mesoporous transition metal carbide is provided to adjust the crystalline phases and the pore sizes of the mesoporous transition metal carbide according to reacting temperatures and times. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing mesoporous transition metal carbide includes the following: a transition metal is nitrified; and the transition metal nitride undergoes a carbonization thermal process. The transition metal is selected from Mo, Cr, Ta, Zr, V, Ti, Hf, Nb, W, the oxide of the same, and the hydrate of the same. When the transition metal is nitride, the transition metal is reacted with one or the mixture of ammonia, cyanide, or nitrogen based on reacting gas. The nitrification is implemented at a temperature between 400 and 800 degrees Celsius. The reacting gas is one or the mixture of methane, butane, and propane.

    • PURPOSE: A selective gas permeability transition metal structure and manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify a manufacturing process by manufacturing a mesoporous transition metal nitride through a nitrification process of a transition metal nitride. CONSTITUTION: A selective gas permeability transition metal structure forms a blow hole when contacting with nitrogenous compound gas and the blow hole is disappeared when contacting with oxygen compound gas. The nitrogenous compound gas is one or more nitrogenous compound gases selected from a group composed of amine compound gas including ammonia gas, hydrogen cyanide gas, hydrazine gas, and first and second and third amines. A size of the blow hole is 1 to 100mm.
