    • PURPOSE: An Oryza sativa-derived stress resistance-associated OsABF1 protein is provided to enhance the expression of OsABF1 gene expression and to develop transgenic plants. CONSTITUTION: An Oryza sativa-derived stress resistant OsABF1(Oryza sativa abscisic acid responsive element-binding factor 1) protein contains an amino acid of sequence number 2. A gene encoding the protein contains a base sequence of sequence number 1. A recombinant vector contains the OsABF1 gene. A transgenic host cell is prepared by transforming cells with the recombinant vector containing OsABF1 gene. A method for preparing a stress resistant transgenic plant comprises: a step of transforming plant cells with the recombinant vector; and a step of redifferentiating a plant with the transformed plant cells. A composition for enhancing plant stress resistance contains a gene of sequence number 1.
