    • An optical recording/reproducing device is provided for recording standing wave information in an optical recording medium and reproducing the standing wave information from the optical recording medium. The optical recording/reproducing device is provided with an optical head, which splits one beam of laser light emitted from a light source (1) into three beams, inputs two beams of laser light (A, B) of the split beams to an optical disc (8) having a reflecting plane (10) from the same side. The one laser beam (A) is radiated to reach the reflecting plane, and the other laser beam (B) is radiated to return by the reflecting plane, and then, the beams are focused at the same focus position (SF) by using an objective lens (7). A standing wave is recorded in the optical disc in layers by the two laser beams radiated to be focused at the same focus position (SF) by the optical head, and information is read from the reflected light when the laser beam (A) of the two laser beams is radiated.

    • A method for manufacturing a microlens and a method for manufacturing a solid-state image sensor having the microlens mounted thereon are provided to enable a microlens with an arbitrary shape to be obtained without using an electron beam exposure device. A method for manufacturing a microlens comprises the process of pressing a microlens mold(10) having a reverse shape(13) of a microlens formed therein on a microlens-forming film formed on a substrate(11), thereby transferring the reverse shape of the microlens to the microlens-forming film to form a microlens. The process of forming the microlens mold comprises the steps of: irradiating an inorganic resist film(12) which is formed on a mold substrate with relatively two-dimensional scanned exposure light; and etching an exposed area of the inorganic resist film to form the reverse shape of the microlens. The irradiation intensity of the exposure light is adjusted correspondingly to the depth of the reverse shape of the microlens from the surface of the inorganic resist film on the basis of profile data of the reverse shape of the microlens.
