    • A liquid injecting method and a liquid container is provided to stop bubbles from introducing to a liquid inflow opening by providing a dam portion at the position upper than a liquid inflow opening perpendicularly in a liquid guide passage. A liquid container comprises a liquid feeding unit(50), a liquid guide passage, an air communicating passage, a liquid detecting unit(31), and a dam portion(425). The liquid feeding unit is detachable to a liquid consuming device, and contacts to a liquid containing unit and to a liquid injection unit of the liquid consuming device. The liquid guide passage guides liquid flowing in the liquid containing unit to the liquid feeding unit. The air communicating unit introduces air from the outside into the liquid containing unit according to the usage of liquid in the liquid containing unit. The liquid detecting unit, which is installed to the liquid guide passage, outputs different signals when the liquid guide passage is filled with liquid and when the liquid guide passage is filled with air. The dam portion is protruded perpendicularly at the upper stream of a liquid inflow opening(423) introducing liquid(I) to the liquid detecting unit. When the liquid, which is injected through an inlet and passed through the liquid guide passage, passes the dam portion, then flows into the liquid inflow opening located under the upstream of the dam portion, and mixes with bubbles(B), the bubbles is provided with buoyancy against approach to the liquid inflow opening by the liquid filled in the liquid guide passage.

    • A liquid injecting method and liquid container are provided to prevent the liquid container from being damaged while injecting liquid by forming an air communicating path to a liquid containing unit, injecting liquid via an inlet, and then sealing the inlet after injection. In a method of injecting a liquid into a liquid container detachably mounted on a liquid consuming device, the liquid container comprises: a liquid containing unit(390), a liquid supply unit, a liquid guide path, an air communicating path, a first inner wall surface(535), a second inner wall surface(537), and a liquid containing unit outlet(311). The liquid supply unit is connected to the liquid consuming device. The liquid guide path guides the liquid contained in the liquid containing unit to the liquid supply unit. The air communicating path communicates the liquid containing unit with air. The second inner wall surface intersects with the first inner wall surface. The liquid containing unit outlet is formed close to the second inner wall surface and allows the liquid containing unit to communicate with the liquid guide path. The method of injecting a liquid into a liquid container includes the steps of: forming an injection port communicating with the liquid containing unit in the air communicating path; injecting a predetermined amount of liquid through the injection port; and sealing the injection port after injecting the liquid.
