    • The present invention relates to a vibration control damper. An upper body and a lower body are individually connected to an upper beam and a lower beam of a building, and a center body is arranged between the upper body and the lower body. The upper body, the lower body, and the center body are mutually connected to move while being rubbed against each other. When an external load such as a wind or an earthquake is applied, a primary friction damping step in which the upper and lower bodies relatively move by being rubbed against the center body, and a secondary damping step which occurs based on the change in the center body itself, are sequentially conducted. Therefore, the vibration control damper has both vibration control properties and earthquake-resistant properties depending on the external load.

    • The present invention relates to a strip type steel damper which has energy dissipation improved efficiency by evenly distributing load over a strip when horizontal load is generated by earthquake load, the strip type steel damper comprising: an upper fixed plate having the front side fixed on a construction; a lower fixed plate which is arranged with a fixed space from and in parallel with the lower side of the upper fixed plate and which has the front side fixed on the construction; and multiple strips which has an upper end connected to the lateral side of the lower end of the upper fixed plate and a lower end connected to lateral side of the upper end of the lower fixed plate, which have multiple strips formed by being formed at constant intervals along the lateral directions of the upper and lower fixed plates and which have the shapes having the widths of the upper and lower ends wider than that of the middle portion thereof, wherein the strip has the end whose width and height are in the aspect ratio of 1:5-1:8.
