The susceptibility-weighted imaging method includes: acquiring a second echo signal and a first echo signal at a second echo time and a first echo time shorter than the second echo time for acquiring an susceptibility-weighted image; acquiring the second echo signal at the second echo time; applying a compensation gradient magnetic field for compensating for field inhomogeneity; acquiring a third echo signal at a third echo time longer than the second echo time; acquiring first, second, and third images from the first, second and third echo signals and combining the images, thereby compensating for a first area where signal attenuation occurs in the second image.
