    • A washing machine is provided to absorb vibration in a washing or a dehydration process by generating magnetic field in a case to increase viscosity of MR fluid. A washing machine comprises a case(110), a piston unit(120), elastic members(130), and a coil(140). The case is installed at the lower part of the washing machine body to support the washing machine body, and is filled with MR fluid. A plunger(150) is formed in the center of the case to generate strong magnetic field through the coil. The piston unit has a piston head(121) and a piston rod(124). The piston head is placed in the case. A through hole(122) is formed at the piston head to make the MR fluid in the case flow to the upper or the lower part of the piston head. The piston rod is extended from the piston head to the outside of the case. The elastic members are aligned at the upper and lower parts of the piston head respectively, and regulate balance of the washing machine body. The coil generates magnetic field in the case by receiving current. The coil is wound on the outer surface of the case to increase viscosity of the MR fluid.

    • 세탁물의 편심 상태를 미리 예측 판단하여 세탁물의 편심하중으로 인해 세탁기가 과도하게 진동하는 것을 방지할 수 있는 세탁기를 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 세탁기는 외관을 형성하는 프레임과, 프레임에 가해지는 가진력(加振力)에 의해 진동하는 질량체와 상기 질량체를 탄성 지지하는 탄성부재를 가지는 진동시스템과, 질량체의 접근 정도를 측정하기 위한 감지장치를 구비한다. 이러한 진동시스템과 감지장치는 탈수행정 시에 세탁조가 고속으로 회전하기 전에 세탁조에 작용하는 편심하중을 미리 예측 판단하여 고속 탈수 시에 편심하중으로 인해 진동이 과도하게 발생되는 것을 방지한다. 즉 세탁조를 구동하는 구동모터가 저속으로 회전하는 탈수 초기에 진동시스템을 공진시켜 그 진폭을 감지장치로 검출하고, 그 결과 진동시스템의 진폭이 크다고 판단되는 경우에는 탈수를 일시 중단하여 세탁물을 재배치하는 제어를 하게 된다.

A foot plate(126) is formed at one end of the piston rod and contacted with the ground. The elastic members are aligned at the upper and lower parts of the piston head respectively, and regulate balance of the washing machine body.

A washing machine has a dynamic vibration absorber(30). The dynamic vibration absorber has a vibration absorber motor(70) for moving an absorber mass(60), and a power transmitting unit(80) converting the rotational motion of the vibration absorber motor into a linear motion, and transmitting the energy of the linear motion to the absorber mass. The power transmitting unit has a rotary body(81) assembled to a rotary shaft(71) of the vibration absorber motor, and a connecting line(82) having one end fixed to the rotary body and the other end fixed to the absorber mass. The vibration absorber is integrated with a cantilever beam(50), and has a fixing bracket(40) which has one side fixed to a frame of the washing machine. The motor is installed on the fixing bracket. The cantilever beam has a guide rail(51) for guiding the movement of the absorber mass, and the absorber mass has a guide groove(61) allowing the guide rail to be fitted into.
