    • A device and a method for reducing an initialization time of a storage medium are provided to reduce the time needed for initializing the storage medium such as a memory card in a host by storing ID information of the storage medium previously connected to the host and using the stored storage medium ID information.     • A method and an apparatus of inputting/outputting data using virtualization technique are provided to store data in a virtual storage or an memory of an external device due to a request for data input/output of a virtual operating system. A virtual operating system for an external device is generated based on the operation system information stored in the external device connected to a host(51).
