    • A electrophotographic photo receptor having a conductive substrate and a charge generation layer formed on the substrate is provided to have electrically excellent performance such as high sensitivity and low exposure potential by adding charge generation material and electron transfer material to the charge generation layer and forming a charge transfer layer above the charge generation layer. The charge transfer material contained in the charge transfer layer is phenylazomethylene-cyclohexadienone derivative represented by the follow formula, wherein: R1 and R2 are independently any one selected from a group consisting of substituted or non-substituted alkyl group having carbon atoms ranging from 1 to 20, substituted or non-substituted alkoxy group having carbon atoms ranging from 1 to 20, substituted or non-substituted aryl group having carbon atoms ranging from 6 to 30, substituted or non-substituted aralkyl group having carbon atoms ranging from 7 to 30 and halogen; A is any one selected from a group consisting of nitro, cyano and sulphone group; and l is natural number of 0 to 4, m is natural number of 0 to 4 and n is natural number of 1 to 5. Amount of the charge generation material in the charge generation layer ranges from 40 to 60wt.%.

    • Provided is an electrophotographic photosensitive member with an undercoating layer having an electron transporting material which effectively inhibits holes from being injected into a photosensitive layer from conductive substrate, consequently it prevents residual electric potential from being increased after repeated use. The electrophotographic photosensitive member with the undercoating layer having the electron transporting material comprises the parts of: the conductive substrate; the undercoating layer which is placed on the conductive substrate having the electron transporting material and binding material resin represented by formula 1 in which R1 is selected from H, halogen, C1-C12 alkyl group and C1-C12 alkoxy group; R2 is selected from alkylene group with substituted radical, alkylene group without substituted radical, arylene group with C6-C30 substituted radical and arylene group without C6-C30 substituted radical; the substituted radical is selected from halogen atom, C1-C12 alkyl group, C1-C12 alkoxy group and aryl group; and the photosensitive layer which is placed on the undercoating layer.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing a monolayered electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided, to reduce residual voltage (V_R)and voltage drop (Vd) and to improve storage stability by containing no solvent. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of dissolving a solid dispersion comprising a phthalocyanine-based pigment and a polycarbonate-based resin or a polyester-based resin as a binding resin together with an electron transport material in a solvent to obtain a photosensitive layer coating solution; and coating the photosensitive layer coating solution on a conductive supporter to form a photosensitive layer. Preferably the photosensitive layer has a thickness of 5-50 micrometers; the phthalocyanine-based pigment is titanyl phthalocyanine or metal-free phthalocyanine; and the ratio of the phthalocyanine-based pigment and the resin in the solid dispersion is 1:2 to 2:1 by weight.

CONSTITUTION: The composition for forming the overcoat layer contains an anionic polyurethane water-dispersion body, wherein the anionic polyurethane water-dispersion body is obtained by a process comprising the steps of: preparing a diol or triol monomer containing a carboxyl group or a carboxyl group and a double bond simultaneously, or a mixture thereof by reacting at least one acid anhydride having a double bond or not, with at least one triol or tetraol derivative; reacting the resultant with a polyol and diisocyanate or diisocyanate polymer to obtain a polyurethane prepolymer; neutralizing a carboxylic acid group of the polyurethane prepolymer by a neutralizing agent and dispersing in water; and chain-extending by a chain-extender. And the organic photoreceptor contains a photosensitive layer having the overcoat layer with 0.1-5 micrometer.
