A microfluidic system comprises one or more chambers with a protruding part in the platform which rotates to store the fluid, a microfluidic device comprising several channels to connect the chambers, a light source(101) which supplies light energy to the chamber and a light sensor(100) capable of detecting the existence of the fluid or the amount of the same through the light energy penetrating the chamber.

An interface unit(104) transmits commands formed in the supporter(101) and the service unit(102), or receives data outputted from the disk drive(110).

    • PURPOSE: A method for setting a speed according to the kind of an optical disk is provided to exactly decide a recording relative speed and an operating speed and to drive in relative software of a drive by differently setting speed set information according to the kind of the optical disk. CONSTITUTION: The kind of an inserted optical disk is checked. A look-up table is changed according to the kind of the optical disk. A speed about the optical disk is decided by reading speed information from the look-up table. An optical disk drive is driven by the decided speed. Speed relative information is recognized through a page code 2Ah of an ATAPI(Advanced Technology Attached Packet Interface) mode sense command. In transmitting the command, a firmware of the drive loads registering information with the changed speed set value. The speed is decided through a set CD speed of the ATAPI command by referring to the changed look-up table.

    • PURPOSE: A revising method and apparatus for seek servo system according to a kind of optical disk is provided to perform a stable seek operation by setting only initial value of a characteristic value for driving a seek servo system and revising the characteristic value according to a kind of an optical disk. CONSTITUTION: A sled motor driving unit(12) drives a sled motor for moving an optical pickup(10) to a target track of an optical disk(11) sought by the optical disk(10). An actuator driving unit(13) drives an actuator for performing a focusing/tracking control of the optical pickup(10). A focusing/tracking error detecting unit(14) computes output signals of photo diodes for detecting an optical volume reflected from the optical disk(11) and outputs an error signal. A timing unit(15) counts a time required when seeking an other location in a random location of the optical disk(11). A count unit(16) counts the number that the optical pickup(10) operated according to a characteristic value of a seek servo system(20) seeks an address randomly. A microcomputer(17) increases or decreases the characteristic value of the seek servo system(20) at a certain interval according to a result of a reference value detecting unit(19). A memory(18) stores a seek time and an error signal occurred according to a seek of the optical pickup(10). The reference value detecting unit(19) computes a mean value of the seek time and a mean error of the error signal stored in the memory(18) according to a control of the microcomputer(17).
