    • PURPOSE: A push service managing method, a device and a recording medium storing a program source about the method are provided to manage a push service with low consumption power, thereby increasing battery performance of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: When an application installed in a terminal requests use of a push service, a controlling unit(810) searches the other application using the push service and determines a message type of a message which transmits to a push server. The controlling unit stores information about the corresponding application requesting service use in a memory unit(830). The message requests registration of the push service. The controlling unit composes the message for requesting the registration of the push service according to the message type.     • PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for measuring an SIR(Signal to Interference Ratio) and a receiver containing the same are provided to exactly measure an SIR by detecting only a pure user signal power from a received signal. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring an SIR comprises an average signal power measurement part(20), an average interference signal power measurement part(30), an adder(40), and an SIR generation part(300). The average signal power measurement part(20) receives one of complex multi-path signals and measures the average signal power containing user signal power, noise power, and another user signal power. The average interference signal power measurement part(30) receives one complex multi-path signal from the average signal power measurement part(20) and measures the average signal power containing the noise power of a desired user signal and the power of another user signal using an unused OVSF(Orthogonal Variable Spreading Factor) code. The adder(40) outputs a pure user signal power using the outputs of the average signal power measurement part(20) and the average interference signal power measurement part(30). The SIR generation part(300) divides the user signal power by the average interference signal power and outputs an SIR.

    • PURPOSE: A gated transmission method is provided to increase a capacity by minimizing interference owing to successive transmission of an uplink dedicated physical control channel(DPCCH) and a downlink power control bit transmission into a forward link. CONSTITUTION: A method for transmitting a downlink dedicated physical control channel signal to a base station of a mobile communication system comprises judging whether downlink dedicated physical control channel data to be transferred by the base station exists, and gated-transferring the downlink dedicated physical control channel signal according to a predetermined pattern when the data to be transferred does not exist during a predetermined time. The dedicated physical control channel signal is transferred by a slot format, which has a power control bit for controlling uplink transmission power. The predetermined pattern is a pattern for gated-transferring the dedicated physical control channel signal by a slot unit during the gated transmission of the dedicated physical control channel signal.
