    • A ceiling-mount type air conditioner is provided to prevent an amount of discharged air from suddenly decreasing and to prevent resistance of the discharged air from increasing when a user adjusts the direction of air flow. A ceiling-mount type air conditioner comprises a body(30), suction and discharge ports(33,36), which are formed on the bottom of the body, a heat exchanger(45) disposed in the body, a support portion to support the heat exchanger, and a blower fan(51) to suck and discharge air. The discharge port is provided with a blade(54) to control the direction of air flow. The blade includes a main blade(57) and first and second auxiliary blades(60,63) which are integrally formed with the main blade. The main blade and the first and second auxiliary blades are vertically spaced apart from each other.

    • A ceiling mounted air conditioner is provided to prevent contamination of a ceiling by using a discharge guide for preventing discharge air from being discharged toward the ceiling. A ceiling mounted air conditioner comprises a ceiling panel(20) including at least one discharge port and a discharge guide(22). The discharge port is coupled with a ceiling of an indoor space to allow air to be discharged therethrough. The discharge guide is formed at an outer side of the discharge port to guide the air discharged through the discharge port. The discharge guide includes a guide surface(22a), an extension surface(22b), and a bonding surface(22c). The guide surface is formed on an outer rim of the discharge port to guide the air. The extension surface is inclined outward from the guide surface. The bonding surface extends inward from the extension surface while being in contact with the ceiling.

A piping part(700) is formed at a corner in the main body and mounted with refrigerant pipes(710) for introducing or discharging refrigerant to or from a heat exchanger(500), which is mounted around the blower fan. An atmospheric air inlet part(800) is formed at the opposite side in the main body for guiding atmospheric air to the air inlet.
