    • PURPOSE: A method for charging and discharging a battery pack is provided to lower the current rating of a charging device. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack(200) comprises a rechargeable battery, a discharging control switch, a charging control switch, and a protection circuit. The rechargeable battery comprises a first battery terminal and a second battery terminal. The discharging control switch is connected to the first battery terminal and the second battery terminal. The charging control switch is connected between the first battery terminal and the second battery terminal. The protection circuit controls the charging control switch and the discharging control switch.

    • PURPOSE: A connecting structure of battery stack is provided to prevent a short phenomenon due to unnecessary contact with outside, and obtain effective insulating effect by limiting the location of insulating layer. CONSTITUTION: A connecting structure of battery stack comprises: a plurality of unit cells(110); a current-collecting case(120) including a plurality of current-collecting stacks(100); bus bars(200) in which a plurality of fastening holes are formed along the length direction and each fastening hole is inserted and connected to each electrode terminal; and an insulating layer on the surface of the bus bars. The insulating layer is on the inner surface of the fastening holes of the bus bars, and coated by one material selected from polyvinyl chloride, polyester, polyamide or urethane.

    • PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to enable a charge and discharge function in one connection terminal and to prevent the separation of an external connection member from a connection terminal. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) comprises: an electrode assembly wound by interposing a separator between a positive electrode and a negative electrode; a case(120) accommodating the electrode assembly thereinside; and a connect terminal(130) which is connected to the electrode assembly and is electrically connected with the external connection member.
