    • The present invention relates to a display device and a method of manufacturing the same through which a process can be simplified by reducing the number of masks. The display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a substrate including a pixel area; a thin film transistor formed on the substrate; a light shielding member formed at a border of the pixel area; a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor and formed in the pixel area; a common electrode formed on the light shielding member while a space is interposed between the pixel electrode and the common electrode; a roof layer formed on the common electrode and including a color filter; an opening formed in the common electrode and the roof layer such that a portion of the space is exposed; liquid crystal formed to fill the space; and a cover film formed on the roof layer to cover the opening, for sealing the space for each pixel area.

    • The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof. The liquid crystal display device includes: a gate line which is formed on an insulation substrate; a data line which is insulated from the gate line and crosses the gate line; a pixel which is connected to the gate line and the data line. The pixel includes: a thin film transistor which includes a control terminal connected to the gate line and an input terminal connected to the data line; a first liquid crystal capacitor whose one end is connected to an output terminal of the thin film transistor; and a second liquid crystal capacitor whose one end is connected to the other end of the first liquid crystal capacitor. Each of the first liquid crystal capacitor and the second liquid crystal capacitor includes a liquid crystal layer formed in a fine space.

    • PURPOSE: An electrophoretic image display device is provided to improve a reflection ratio by implementing a collation hole formation area as a white color. CONSTITUTION: An array substrate(100) includes a plurality of pixels. An electrophoretic layer(300) includes a non-polar solution(310) and two or more polar particles(320). The two or more polar particles are dispersed to the non-polar solution. The two or more polar particles have different colors from each other. The electrophoretic layer is arranged between the array substrate and an opposite substrate(200). One of the substrates includes a plurality of collection holes which collect the polar particles.
