    • Provided is a process for controlling charge and discharge of a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery to exhibit fine cycling feature and high discharging output property battery by regulating discharge to reach a discharging output voltage between 2 to 3V. The process comprises controlling discharge of the secondary battery to reach a discharging output voltage ranging from 2 to 3V at stop of the discharging process. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery under the control process comprises a positive electrode containing positive active material and a negative electrode containing negative active material. The positive active material includes Li transition metallic composite with the spinel structure. The negative active material is a graphite composition comprising a first graphite core and a second carbon material for coating surface of the first graphite core and having lower crystalline property than the first graphite core.
