摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a water treatment apparatus not exerting effect on the removal capacity of a nitrogen component due to a temperature. CONSTITUTION: Water to be treated is circulated through first and second anaerobic filter bed tanks 5 and 10, a contact aeration tank 14, a sedimentation tank 19 and a phosphorus removing electrolytic cell 59. The supernatant liquid of water to be treated in the sedimentation tank 19 flows in a disinfection tank 21 and subsequently sent to a nitrogen removing electrolytic cell 100. A pair of electrodes are provided in the electrolytic cell 100 and halogen ions present in water to be treated are oxidized on an anode side to form halogen gas which is, in turn, reacted with water in water to be treated to form hypohalognous acid. On a cathode side, the nitrogen component in water to be treated is converted to nitrate ions and these nitrate ions are further converted to ammonium ions. Hypohalogenous acid is reacted with ammonium ions and the nitrogen component is converted to nitrogen gas through chloramines.

摘要： The waste water treatment unit includes a manhole for inspection, a section (5) for storage and treatment of waste water and a unit supplying Fe or Al ions (37). The latter is fastened to the manhole cover and includes electrodes (41, 42). Preferred features: A detector (38) determines whether the electrodes are in the water or not. Current supply to an electrode decomposes it electrolytically. Wiring to the electrode from a current source, is detachable; the connection in the electrode holding section makes no external contact. The electrode holder accommodates the wire. Several electrodes can be mounted, with suitable insulators. A tube is included, with a hole detachably connected to a pump, to produce bubbles around the electrode. Aerobic tanks (5, 10, 14) receive the waste water and microorganisms contained. A settlement tank (19) removes sludge. The electrode is immersed in the waste water in the anaerobic tank, in the aerobic tank or in the sludge settlement tank. A separate electrolysis tank can be provided for electrolytic decomposition of the electrode immersed in it.
