    • PURPOSE: A radiation shielding device of a FPSO(Floating Production Storage and Offloading) and a radiation shielding measuring method of the FPSO is provided to generate base research data about equipment sensitive to a heat flux through a simulation of radiation generated in a flare system of the FPSO. CONSTITUTION: A radiation shielding device of a FPSO comprises a heat source unit(100), a shielding unit(200), a moving unit(300), a sensor(400), and a measuring unit(500). The heat source unit includes a virtual heat source of a flare system for testing radiation radiated by a heat source generated in the flare system. The shielding unit is arranged in the front surface of the heat source unit and shields the radiation radiated by the heat source unit. The moving unit is arranged in the front surface of the shielding unit to be movable. The sensor is installed in the moving unit and senses temperature and a heat flux according to a distance to the heat source unit. The measuring unit controls the radiant temperature of the heat source unit and receives the radiant temperature and the heat flux sensed by the sensor, thereby measuring the reduced amount of the heat according to the distance to the heat source unit and controlling the same.

The handrail includes a cylindrical hollow support portion extending in a vertical direction; an elbow with a first opening being connected to an upper end of the support portion and a second opening being bent at a right angle and extended; and a sleeve member fixed to the second opening of the elbow at one end and inserted into a cylindrical rail of a given length at the other end. An edge of one end of the sleeve member is formed with three bases which are spaced apart from each other at an interval of 120 degrees on the basis of a center axis of the sleeve member and extend at a given length in a vertical direction from the center axis. The sleeve member is tapered from one end to the other end. Since the handrail for preventing falling from a ship has a heating function, a user can easily hold the handrail in a cold weather as well as an ordinary day, and accidents can be prevented in advance.
