    • PURPOSE: A dye-sensitized solar cell using a grid electrode and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve efficiency by inserting the grid electrode between two substrates to reduce a space between two substrates. CONSTITUTION: A top electrode(300) and a bottom electrode(400) are formed on the inner surfaces of a top substrate and a bottom substrate. A grid electrode(500) is inserted into the etched top and bottom transparent electrodes and top and bottom substrates. One side of the grid electrode is inserted into the inner sides of the top and bottom substrates via the top transparent electrode and the bottom transparent electrode. The other side of the grid electrode is formed with the height which is similar or equal to the surface of the top and bottom transparent electrodes.

    • PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing a dye-sensitized solar cell using laser and the dye-sensitized solar cell are provided to reduce manufacturing costs as well as simplify a bonding process by joining a photoelectrode flexible substrate and a counter electrode flexible substrate only by laser irradiation. CONSTITUTION: An oxide layer(200) is formed on the top of a photoelectrode flexible substrate(100). An edge part(320) having a rectangular edge is formed on the top of the counter electrode flexible substrate. A catalyst material layer(400) is formed on the top of the counter electrode flexible substrate. One side of the photoelectrode flexible substrate is closely attached to the edge part. Laser is irradiated on the other side of the photoelectrode flexible substrate which is attached to the edge part.

    • PURPOSE: An environment-friendly advertisement sign board is provided to simplify the structure of an advertising board by including a generation source and a display function in a dye sensitized solar cell. CONSTITUTION: A power generation and display unit(42) arranges dye sensitive solar cell units which are manufactured by dyes of different colors according to advertisement contents and displays the advertisement contents and generates power. A protecting layer(41) is formed in the front side of the power generation and display unit. A light source unit is formed in the rear side of the power generation and display irradiates light to the power generation and display unit. A storage battery(45) stores power which is generated in the power generation and display unit.

    • PURPOSE: A method for fabricating of a dye-sensitized solar cell is provided to collect dye molecule freely moving to a metal oxide through electric attraction by applying a vertical electric filed to a transparent electrode in a dye absorption process. CONSTITUTION: In a method for fabricating of a dye-sensitized solar cell, a transparent electrode(32) is formed on a lower plate(31). A metal oxide layer(33) is formed on the transparent electrode. Dye molecule freely moving is collected around a metal oxide through electric attraction. A metal oxide - dye adsorption process is performed while the lower substrate having the transparent electrode is dipped in a dye solution(34). The electric field is formed in vertical direction to the transparent electrode through first and second external electrodes(35a,35b).
