    • PURPOSE: Substituted 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazines of formula(I), methods for preparing the compounds, novel intermediates for their preparation and their use as herbicides are provided. CONSTITUTION: 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazines of formula(I) are prepared by method(a) wherein substituted biguanides of formula(II) and/or acid addition products thereof are reacted with alkoxycarbonyl compounds of formula(III), optionally in the presence of supplement agent and diluent; method(b) wherein substituted aminotriazines of formula(IV) are reacted with nitrogen compounds of formula(V), optionally in the presence of supplement agent and diluent; method(c) wherein substituted aminotriazines of formula(VI) are reacted with amino compounds of formula(VII), optionally in the presence of supplement agent and diluent; or method(d) wherein 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazines of formula(Ia) are reacted with alkylating, acylating or sulfonylating agents of formula(VIII) to afford the compounds of formula(I) in which R2 is others except H, optionally in the presence of supplement agent and diluent. The compounds of formula(I) obtained from the above are further conversed to their substituents defined in the description according to the conventional methods. The novel 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazines of formula(1) possess intensive and selective herbicidal activity, so they are useful as herbicides.

    • PURPOSE: Substituted 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazine of the general formula (I), preparation method thereof, an intermediate for substituted 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazine, and its use as herbicide are provided. CONSTITUTION: Substituted 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazine of the general formula (I), in which R¬1 stands for hydrogen or for optionally substituting alkyl, R¬2 stands for formyl or for optionally substituting alkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylsulfonyl, arylcarbonyl or arysulfonyl respectively, R¬3 for optionally substituting alkyl or cycloalkyl respectively, R¬4 for hydrogen or alkyl, A for oxygen or methylene, Ar for optionally substituting aryl or heterocyclyl respectively and Z for hydrogen, hydroxy, cyano, nitro, halogen or for optionally substituted alkyl, alkoxy, alkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl, alkylsulfonyl, alkenyl or alkinyl respectively (in which three previously known combinations are excluded). The disclosure also relates to a method and to new intermediate products for producing the new compounds and their use as herbicides.
