    • A variable nozzle exhaust turbo-charger and a method for manufacturing constituent member of a variable nozzle mechanism are provided to prevent an erroneous operation of the variable nozzle mechanism by preventing a driving ring from being slipped toward a lever plate from a nozzle mount. A variable nozzle exhaust turbo-charger comprises a plurality of nozzle vanes(2) supported by a nozzle mount(5) fixed at a turbine casing; a driving ring(3) connected to an actuator; and lever plates(1) having the same number as that of the nozzle vanes. Each lever plate has one end connected to a groove(3y) through a connection pin and the other end connected to the nozzle vane. The lever plate vibrates by rotating the driving ring, and rotates by the vibration of the lever plate so as to adjust the angle of the blade of the nozzle vane. The connection pin is formed integrally with the driving ring through precision casting, or formed integrally with the driving ring through extrusion, and formed integrally with the lever plate through precision casting. At least one of the connection pin portion of the lever plate/pin portions of the driving ring or driving ring/grooves(3z) of the lever plate where the connection pin portions are coupled includes diffusion coating.
