    • A boring tool capable of accurately forming a bored hole by securing the rigidity of a reamer to prevent turnout of the reamer at high speeds and enabling an increase in life by suppressing the breakage thereof by cutting resistance. The boring tool (21) is inserted into a pilot hole formed in a workpiece beforehand to cut the inner wall surface of the pilot hole. The boring tool comprises a shank part rotated about an axis (O), an edge part with a cutting edge (30) at the tip of the shank part, and a chip discharging groove (27) formed in the outer peripheral part of the edge part and extending from the tip side to the rear end side. The cutting edge (30) is formed at a crossed ridge part between the wall surface (28) of the chip discharging grove (27) facing forward in the tool rotating direction (T) and the outer peripheral surface (29) of the edge part. The boring tool is characterized in that the cross-section of the chip discharging groove (27) vertical to the axis (O) is formed in a U-shape.

    • A hole processing tool is provided to improve dynamic balance and rigidity of a tool body and to adjust a position of an insert simply and accurately. In a hole processing tool, a concave unit(30) opened toward an outside of a diameter direction for a tool body(21) and toward a front end portion of the tool body is positioned at the front end portion of the tool body rotated around an axis. An installation seat(31) is positioned at a rear side of a rotating direction(T) for the tool of the concave unit. A thickness direction of a plain insert(50) installed at the installation seat is faced toward the diameter direction of the tool body. A surface faced to an inside of the diameter direction for the tool body for the insert is a placing surface(51). The surface faced to the rear side of the rotating direction for the insert is a pressed surface(61). The surface faced to a front side of the rotating direction for the insert is an inclined surface(54). An outer peripheral cutting blade is positioned at a ridge part of the outside for the diameter direction of the tool body for the inclined surface. A digging blade is formed at the ridge part of the front end portion of the tool body. A back taper is positioned at the outer peripheral cutting blade and moved backward toward the inside of the diameter direction for the tool body gradually to a side of a rear end portion for the tool body. A pressing member(40) is positioned at the rear side of the rotating direction for the installation seat. The pressing member presses the pressed surface of the insert to adjust a position of the diameter direction for the outer peripheral cutting blade.
