    • PURPOSE: A nematic liquid crystal mixture is provided to shorten the reaction time, widen the working temperature window, and improve the slope of a line characterizing the electro-optical characteristics and the angle dependency and the threshold voltage of contrast. CONSTITUTION: The nematic liquid crystal mixture comprises at least one of the compounds represented by formula 1, wherein at least one of the radicals R1 and R2 is an alkenyl radical having C15 or less, non-substituted or monosubstituted with halogen, CN or CF3, and the other radical may be an alkyl radical having C15 or less, non-substituted or monosubstituted with halogen, CN or CF3, wherein one of the CH2 groups in the radicals may be replaced by -O-, -S-, -C≡C-, -OC-O- or -O-CO- in a way that O atom is not directly bonded.
