    • A method for optimizing an injection nozzle for an internal combustion engine is provided to achieve optimization of an injection nozzle relating to at least prevention of harmful substance emission, improvement of tribological properties and the decrease of fuel consumption. In a method for optimizing an injection nozzle for an internal combustion engine, PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) type mathematical method is employed when independent parameters are randomly selected with respect to geometric specifications of the injection nozzle, wherein references determined as optimum are utilized in the design of the structure of the injection nozzle. More than one, several or all values of a seat angle(sigma) of a nozzle needle(3), a peak angle(alpha) of the nozzle needle, a needle stroke(h), a nozzle orifice diameter(DL), a blind hole diameter(De), a seat diameter(Da) of a lower needle, a blind hole angle(epsi), a nozzle angle, an injection point(hsp) of an injection hole, and the number of nozzle orifices are set as the independent parameters.
