    • PURPOSE: A structure and a system for location recognition of computer systems and computer devices are provided to transfer location objects agreed and generated from a fuser engine to an application program by receiving location context data associated with current location from location provides associated with computing devices, and processing uncertainty/inconsistency statistically and hierarchically. At least one API transfers the location object to application programs(220(1)-(2)) from the fuser engine and the location object dynamically provides the application program with location context for the computer executing a service.

    • PURPOSE: A selective pre-authentication to anticipated primary wireless access points is provided to reduce a latency during a wireless access point switching operation by performing pre-authentication. CONSTITUTION: A wireless device(220) facilitates a switching operation from a wireless access point(201 - 206) to another wireless access point. An application currently running on the wireless device is determined to have a low latency when switching from one wireless access to another wireless access. A communication is performed through a first wireless access point(205). A second wireless access point(204) is within a range and is determined to be potentially communicated with even though the wireless device is currently communicating with the first wireless access point. In response to the determination that the application has a low latency, before making the second wireless access point the first wireless access point, the wireless device directs to the second wireless access point to acquire an authenticated state with the second wireless access point.
