    • Provided are an adhesive composition which can adhere an optical functional member to a glass substrate such as a liquid crystal cell even under the condition of high humidity and high temperature, and an adhesive-adhered optical functional member using the composition. The adhesive composition comprises a (meth)acrylate copolymer having a crosslinking functional group; a crosslinking agent; and a silane coupling agent. The adhesive strength ratio B/A is 1.5-3 when an adhesive layer having a thickness of 25 micrometers is formed on a polyethylene terephthalate film having a thickness of 50 micrometers by crosslinking, the formed one is plastered on an alkali-glass to be maintained at a temperature of 50 deg.C and at a pressure of 0.5 MPa for 20 min, and it is left alone for 24 hours under the condition of a temperature of 23 deg.C and a relative humidity of 50% (A) and the condition of a temperature of 60 deg.C and a relative humidity of 90% (B), respectively. Also the adhesive strength ratio (C/B)Î100% is 70% or more when an adhesive layer having a thickness of 25 micrometers is formed on a polyethylene terephthalate film having a thickness of 50 micrometers by crosslinking, a polyethylene terephthalate peeling film having a thickness of 38 micrometers is plastered on the formed adhesive layer to be maintained at a temperature of 60 deg.C and at a relative humidity of 90% for 7 days, the formed one is plastered on an alkali-glass to be maintained at a temperature of 50 deg.C and at a pressure of 0.5 MPa for 20 min, and it is left alone for 24 hours under the condition of a temperature of 60 deg.C and a relative humidity of 90% (C).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive composition for installing an adhesive layer on a discotic liquid crystal layer of an optically functional film having the discotic liquid layer for expanding visible angle, and forming the adhesive layer excellent in adhesiveness not only to an object to be adhered but to the discotic liquid crystal layer, and excellent in durability (heat resistance, water resistance and the like) required in application to liquid crystal displays, and provide an optically functional film having the adhesive layer with visible angle expansion function.
