    • PURPOSE: A self-cleaning coating composition and a method for preparing a coating on a metal using the composition are provided, to improve heat resistance, chemical resistance, pollution resistance, deodorizing property and antibacterial action. CONSTITUTION: The coating composition comprises 10-20 wt% of a methylphenylsilicon resin; 30-40 wt% of manganeses dioxide; 10-20 wt% of a ceramic pigment; 10-20 wt% of frit; 3-8 wt% of germanium; 0.5-1.5 wt% of hard charcoal; and 10-20 wt% of a xylene-based solvent. The method comprises the steps of: mixing a methylphenylsilicon resin, manganeses dioxide, a ceramic pigment, frit, germanium, and hard charcoal; dispersing the mixture by ring milling for 3 hours or more, to obtain the powder with a particle size of 325 mesh; adding a xylene-based solvent to the powder to prepare a coating composition; coating the coating composition on the surface of metal by a thickness of 120-150 micrometers; sintering the coated one at a temperature of 400-440 deg.C for 20-30 min; and cooling it.

Preferably the solvent of a high boiling point is Cocosol-150 or butyl cellosolve. The method comprises the steps of mixing a methylphenylsilicon resin, polytetrafluoroethylene, carbon black and a solvent of a high boiling point; dispersing the mixture by ring milling for 7 hours or more, to obtain the powder with a particle size of 25 micrometers; adding toluene to the powder to prepare a coating composition; coating the coating composition on the surface of metal by a thickness of 15-25 micrometers; sintering the coated one at a temperature of 380-420 deg.C for 20-30 min; and cooling it.

    • PURPOSE: Provided are a coating composition which can be firmly coated on various metals such as aluminum plated metal, stainless steel, and so on, and has excellent self-dissolution of oil component at high temperature, and a method for producing a metal coating by using the same. CONSTITUTION: The composition consists of 10-20 wt% of special heat resistant silicon resin, 30-40 wt% of manganese dioxide, 10-20 wt% of ceramic pigment, 15-25 wt% of frit, 0.5-1.5 wt% of loess, and 10-20 wt% of xylene solvent. The method comprises the steps of (i) mixing 10-20 wt% of special heat resistant silicone resin, 30-40 wt% of manganese dioxide, 10-20 wt% of ceramic pigment, 15-25 wt% of frit, and 0.5-1.5 wt% of loess; (ii) dispersing the mixture with ring mill for 3 hours or more to obtain a powder; (iii) mixing 10-20 wt% of xylene solvent into the powder mixture to produce a coating composition; (iv) applying the coating composition to metal with a thickness of 150-180 microns; (v) baking the coated metal at 360-440 deg.C(preferably 400 deg.C) for 20-30 minutes; and (vi) cooling the coated metal.
