摘要： An electric humidity display device includes a first base substrate; a partition which is formed on the first base substrate and separates a plurality of pixels; a second base substrate which faces the first base substrate; a plurality of column spacers which are formed on the second base substrate; an electric humidity layer which is placed between the first and the second base substrate and includes a first fluid and a second fluid, which has electrical conductivity or polarity, which are not blended to each other; and a plurality of channels which are formed in the boundary area among the pixels in a region overlapped with the partition region and provides a movement path for the second fluid. The column spacers are formed in the boundary area among the pixels except for the region where the channels are formed and are in contact with the partition.

摘要： PURPOSE: An electro-wetting display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to uniformly coat a display area with a water repellent layer. CONSTITUTION: An electro-wetting display device includes a display area (1), pad areas (129,179), and an intermediate area (2). The display area includes a pixel electrode and a water repellent layer on the pixel electrode. The pad areas respectively include auxiliary electrodes. The intermediate area forms a protective layer. The protective layer is formed with a material identical to the material of a layer between the pixel electrode and the water repellent layer.
