    • PURPOSE: A method of reclaiming alkylene carbonate and/or a catalyst for synthesizing alkylene glycol and a method of manufacturing the alkylene carbonate and/or alkylene glycol are provided to remove ethylene glycol effectively in a short period of time so that a solution with a deactivated catalyst is effectively concentrated. CONSTITUTION: A method of reclaiming alkylene carbonate and/or a catalyst for synthesizing alkylene glycol comprises the following steps: C2-C6 alkylene oxide and carbon dioxide are reacted with more than one catalyst among a quaternary phosphonium iodine compound and a quaternary phosphonium bromine compound. The produced compounds are concentrated by a system for evaporating a thin film. The concentrated products react with more than one type of halogenated salt compounds selected from iodinized salt and bromide salt. The step of using the system for evaporating thin film is carried out under a pressure of 10^-3 torr to 100 torr.
