    • A nanoclay masterbatch composition, and a high rigidity polypropylene/nanoclay composite using the composition are provided to induce a sufficient dispersion of nanoclay and to increase flexural modulus, flexural strength and tensile strength without the decrease of heat distortion temperature. A nanoclay masterbatch composition comprises 20~70 wt% of a polypropylene resin; 40~50 wt% of a nanoclay; and 10~40 wt% of a modified polymer, wherein the modified polymer has a weight average molecular weight of 30,000~100,000 and is a maleic anhydride graft polypropylene resin containing 4-8 weight part of maleic anhydride based on 100 parts by weight a polypropylene resin, and the masterbatch has a flexural modulus of 30,000~50,500 kg/cm^2 and a heat distortion temperature of 100~140 ‹C.

    • PURPOSE: An amorphous polypropylene resin composition for impact resistance reinforcement mixed with crystalline polypropylene and inorganic fillers is provided which improves formability and productivity. CONSTITUTION: A specified amount of crystalline polypropylene and inorganic fillers is mixed with amorphous polypropylene which is added as a modifier for reinforcing the flexibility and impact resistance of a polypropylene resin composition such that the composition has not only flexibility at ordinary temperatures and high impact resistance at ordinary and low temperatures, but also excellent formability and productivity in the case of incorporating in a molding composition. The composition can be used for a base material of injection moldings such as wrapping films, sheets, automobile parts, electric product parts, electronic product parts, and toys or blending with a resin composition comprising a material of the injection moldings and a substitute for polyvinylchloride and low density polyethylene of a jacket for communication cables, a fiber and a tape.
