    • A composition for purifying glucosamine is provided to be used to prepare a glucosamine tablet showing excellent purification characteristic such as high hardness and rapid disintegration rate. A method for preparing the glucosamine tablet is provided to obtain the tablet with high content of the glucosamine having excellent purification characteristics. A composition for purifying glucosamine comprises: 80-94 wt.% of glucosamine hydrochloride powder; 5-7.5 wt.% of HPMC(hydroxypropylmethylcellulose); 0.3-1 wt.% of magnesium stearate; and the remaining amount of a pharmaceutically acceptable supplementary raw material. A method for preparing a glucosamine tablet comprises the steps of: (a) mixing the glucosamine hydrochloride powder, HPMC and magnesium stearate; (b) after tabletting the mixture, compounding it; (c) after granulating the material obtained from the step(b) with a coating solution including HPMC, compound the granulated powder; and (d) after mixing the material obtained from the step(c) with the pharmaceutically acceptable supplementary raw material, tabletting the mixture.
