    • A fan-beam antenna is provided to form a high-gain fan-beam antenna having a thin cross-sectional shape by utilizing a dielectric lens having a little reflection. A flare(2) has a long side in a horizontal direction and a horn-shaped cross section. A water-proof housing(4) is used for storing components of an antenna. A radome radiation surface(3a) is located in front of the flare(2) and is used as a part of the water-proof housing(4). The radome radiation surface(3a) is formed equivalently with a plurality of dielectric plates. One or more than one dielectric plates are formed with dielectric lenses(5a-1,5a-2) having characteristics similar to convex lenses.

    • PURPOSE: A slot array antenna is provided to prevent an unstable contact of a slot waveguide and a waveguide holder, by forming a slot waveguide and a flare holder integrally with each other. CONSTITUTION: A slot array antenna comprises a radome(5); a flare(3) arranged in the radome and continuously widens into a horn shape; a slot waveguide(1a) arranged at one end of the flare, wherein the slot waveguide has an E-surface on which a plurality of slots are formed; a flare holder(1b) for holding the one end of the flare; and a supported portion(1d) for supporting the slot waveguide. The slot waveguide, the flare holder, and the supported portion are formed integrally into a single unit, to thereby form a radiation portion.
