摘要： Disclosed are a mobile terminal comprising a storage unit which stores a specific function which corresponds to information of one motion or combination information of two or more motions of the terminal, and a method for performing the specific function. The method for performing the specific function comprises a step for enabling a motion sensing unit to sense a motion of a user; a step for enabling a control unit to receive output information of the motion sensing unit; a step for enabling the control unit to compare inputted motion with the information of one motion or the combination information of two or more motions stored in the storage unit; and a step for enabling the control unit to perform the specific function which corresponds to the information of one motion or the combination information of two or more motions when the inputted motion corresponds to the information of one motion or the combination information of two or more motions stored in the storage unit. One embodiment of the present invention is provided to perform the specific function using various motions or the combination of the motions, thereby maximizing user convenience for the terminal. Also, the user can easily perform the specific function using only one hand and perform an immediate action for a function which is frequently used by the user.

摘要： Disclosed are an authentication system connected to a terminal of a user via a network to authenticate the terminal, and a method thereof. The authentication system comprises the following: a database storing authentication information including at least one behavioral pattern registered by the user among user′s behavioral patterns including a motion of the terminal, a limit range of time taken for the motion, a specified key of the terminal, a specified identification value, and a location of the terminal; and a server asking authentication of the terminal when the terminal is connected, comparing, if receiving the authentication information including the at least one behavioral pattern from the terminal, the received authentication information with authentication information that the user has registered beforehand, and performing the authentication if the two pieces of authentication information are the same. The authentication system can enhance security by performing an authentication function with a combination of various behaviors of the user and allows the user to handle an authentication task with only one hand.
