CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing the open cell type metal form integrally formed with its support comprises the steps of forming a model of a desired shaped product into an open cell type foam and its support attached to the form; putting the model into a container having a plurality of through holes(22a); forming a mold by injecting a mold material(28) in the slurry state into the model contained container; forming a plurality of pores inside the mold by removing the model after forming the mold; installing the mold formed container inside a vacuum suction container; filling the pores inside the mold with molten metal of the metal by injecting molten metal of a metal into the vacuum suction container in the state that the container is installed inside the vacuum suction container and forming vacuum suction force inside the vacuum suction container; solidifying metal filled between pores inside the mold; and removing the molding material.

    • PURPOSE: A production method of a foaming metal is provided to reduce a producing time, to easily withdraw a product and to produce the product having the excellent mechanical property. CONSTITUTION: A burned flask(45) is located inside a vacuum intake container(43). A packing material of heatproof rubber(42) is arranged between the flask(45) and the vacuum intake container(43) to maintain the vacuum degree. Aluminum melted liquid(M) is injected into a gypsum mold(41). The aluminum melted liquid(M) is filled between an empty void inside the gypsum mold(41) by sucking the vacuum through an air discharge port(48) of the vacuum intake container(43). The vacuum degree inside the vacuum intake container(43) is removed after hardening the metal. The flask(45) is separated from the vacuum intake container(43). The mold(41) is removed by a water jet or supersonic waves. Thereby, an aluminum foaming metal is obtained.
