    • A transparent thermoplastic resin composition is provided to ensure excellent latex stability, shock resistance and transparency even though polymethylmethacrylate and styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer are mixed. A method for manufacturing a transparent thermoplastic resin composition comprises the steps of: graft-polymerizing a monomer mixture containing methacrylic acid alkyl ester, aromatic vinyl compound and vinyl cyanide compound to a latex mixture by using an alkyl aryl sulfonate salt emulsifier and a dispersant to prepare graft resin, wherein the mixture consisting of a small-sized diene-based rubber polymer having an average particle diameter of 700-1500 angstrom and a large-sized diene rubber polymer having an average particle diameter of 2000-4000 angstrom; and mechanically mixing transparent resin having the difference of refractive index of ±0.005.

    • Provided is a method for preparing an acrylate-styrene-acrylonitrile resin which has remarkably improved impact resistance and excellent weather resistance, chemical resistance and processability. A method comprises the steps of injecting an alkyl acrylate monomer, an aromatic vinyl monomer, a crosslinking agent, a polymerization initiator and an emulsifying agent into ion exchange water to prepare a rubber copolymer having a diameter of 200-350 nm; and adding at least one monomer selected from a cyanovinyl compound, an aromatic vinyl compound, an alkyl methacrylate, ion exchange, an emulsifying agent and a polymerization initiator to the obtained rubber copolymer so as to prepare a graft polymer having a diameter of 250-400 nm.

The acrylic resin includes 30-70 weight% of styrene-vinyl cyanide based copolymers and 30-70 weight% of acrylic rubber-vinyl cyano-styrene based tricopolymer.
