    • The present invention relates to a preparing method of isotropic bulk graphite and isotropic bulk graphite prepared thereby. The present invention provides a preparing method of isotropic bulk graphite comprising step 1 for forming a green body by combining and press-forming isotropic graphite waste scraps with a binder, step 2 for preparing bulk graphite by carbonizing the green body at a temperature of 600-1000°C, and step 3 for impregnating the bulk graphite in the binder for 30 minutes to 2 hours and re-carbonizing the same at 600-1000°C; and isotropic bulk graphite prepared by the method. Although most of isotropic graphite waste scraps resulting from isotropic graphite preparation is discarded, high-density isotropic bulk graphite can be prepared by collecting, reprocessing, and using those graphite waste scraps, and the isotropic bulk graphite, which has high density and high strength, can be used by being applied to various kinds of areas such as high-temperature structural materials like electrodes, carbon brush, mechanical seal, etc., and specific mechanical parts, etc.
