    • PURPOSE: A transformant having high content of methionine using perilla-derived seed storage protein is provided to specifically overexpress PrLeg in potato tuber and produce crops having rich necessary amino acid content. CONSTITUTION: An expression vector contains a gene of perilla-derived seed storage protein. A promoter of a gene for tuber-specific expression is Patatin promoter derived from potato. The gene of seed storage protein is nucleic acid encoding PrLeg protein. The expression vector is CaMV35S::PrLeg/pSJ001, or Patatin::PrLeg/pSJpatatin01. A method for preparing a transformant having high content of methionine comprises: a step of preparing the expression vector; a step of transforming plant tissue with the expression vector; and a step of selecting transformant in which the expression vector is introduced.

    • The present invention relates to a method for increasing the transformation efficiency when a transformed plant with foreign genes introduced by redifferentiating potato plants in vitro or by using agrobacteria is developed.
