    • PURPOSE: A Drosophila Tsp66E gene knock-out mutant is provided to use as a model for searching human cancer metastasis suppression mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A Drosophila Tsp66E gene knock-out mutant is made from EY02264 mutant strain. A method for making the Drosophila Tsp66E gene knock-out mutant comprises: a step of mating a male Drosophila(EY02264/EY02264) of EY02264 mutant strain with a female Drosophila[P(ry+, ex2-3), Sb/TM6B, Tb] which has not mated; a step of selecting a male Drosophila[EY02264/P(ry+, ex2-3), Sb] having both EY02264 and Δ2-3 mutant strains among its offspring; a step of mating a male Drosophila with a female Drosophila which has Tb(Tubby) phenotype and TM6B balancer and has not mated; a step of selecting a male Drosophila(Tsp66Eex/TM6B, Tb) whose offspring has cut P transposable element; a step of mating the selected male Drosophila with female Drosophila which has TM6B balancer and Tb(Tubby) phenotype and has not mated; a step of mating offspring from the prior step with a female Drosophila which has not mated with a male Drosophila(Tsp66Eex/TM6B, Tb); and a step of confirming mutation.
