    • A discharge apparatus, particularly an electrohydraulic forming apparatus having a shock buffering mechanism for reducing the slip between an electrode and an electrode holding member due to the shock of the discharge caused in the apparatus, thereby decreasing the electrode-to-electrode distance adjustment frequency, or a discharge apparatus having a durable electrode-to-electrode distance adjusting mechanism for automatically adjusting the distance between electrodes as necessary without moving the apparatus from the place where the apparatus is installed, thereby easily continuing stable discharge at all times. A mode of a discharge apparatus is characterized in that the apparatus has a pair of electrodes and at least one of the electrodes has a buffer mechanism for absorbing or buffering the shock of the discharge.
