    • The present invention provides a production method of an electrode for a battery which contains an active material layer, and specifically, to a production method of an electrode for a battery which can form a compact active material layer without a press process on the active material layer or an active material pattern. The production method of the electrode for the battery comprises the following steps: a mixing step of mixing an active material and a conductive agent in a dry state; a pressing step of pressing the mixture obtained from the mixing step; a step of producing the active material in a slurry (paste) form by mixing the mixture after the pressing step with a solvent; and a coating step of coating the active material in a slurry form on a current collector for producing the active material layer.
