    • A double-headed piston type compressor is provided to maintain the lubrication property of a shaft sealing unit. In a double-headed piston type compressor, a shaft sealing unit(22) for preventing leakage on the peripheral surface of a rotational shaft(21) is accommodated in an accommodation chamber(13b) formed in a front housing(13). A supply passage(21a) is formed in the rotational shaft. A suction chamber and an introduction passage are communicated by the supply passage. A communication passage(46) communicating the accommodation chamber with an inclined plate chamber is formed in a cylinder block(11) and the front housing. A communication recess(40) communicating the introduction passage and the accommodation chamber is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rotational shaft. The supply passage and the inclined plate chamber are communicated with each other by the communication passage and the communication recess.

    • A swash plate type compressor is provided to improve suction efficiency by sucking a refrigerant into a cylinder bore without being prevented by a swash plate boss port from a swash plate chamber by including a driving shaft, a cylinder blocks, pistons, a swash plate chamber, and a rotary valve. A swash plate type compressor comprises: housings (13,14); a driving shaft; cylinder blocks (11,12); a plurality of pistons; a swash plate chamber; a swash plate(24); a rotary valve. The rotatable driving shaft is supported to the housing. The cylinder block includes the housing, shaft holes(11a,12a) where the driving shaft is inserted and passed, a plurality of cylinder bores arranged with an interval around the shaft hole, and a path passing through the cylinder bore and the shaft hole. The plural pistons are inserted into the cylinder bore. The swash plate chamber is partitioned in the housing. The swash plate is included in the swash plate chamber, and is extended from a swash plate boss portion(24a) fixed to the driving shaft and includes a plate part holding the pistons and reciprocating the pistons in the cylinder bore by rotating with the driving shaft. The rotary valve is rotated synchronously with the driving shaft, and includes a suction path sequentially passing the swash plate of each cylinder bore in suction stroke. An introducing part passes through the shaft holes of the cylinder blocks and is formed so as to face to the swash plate boss part. The introducing part introduces the refrigerant in the swash plate chamber to the rotary valve. The introducing part is extended to location over the swash plate boss portion according to diameter direction of the driving shaft from the shaft hole.
