摘要： PURPOSE: A mixed flux for submerged arc welding is provided to improve the regenerating utilization of welding slag generated after submerged arc welding, and further to improve the peelability of the slag and the shape of beads, also a method for producing the same is provided. CONSTITUTION: The welding slag of bond flux used for submerged arc welding and the welding slag of melting type flux are mechanically mixed in a ratio in which the content of the welding slag in the bond flux is controlled to 10 to 90 wt.% of the total content. The flux has a grain size less than 2.36 mm and bulk density as much as 1.30 to 1.90 g/cc, and has a chemical composition containing 15 to 55 wt.% of SiO2, 2 to 25 wt.% of Al2O3, 2 to 40 wt.% of MnO, 0.4 to 30 wt.% of MgO, 30 wt.% or less of CaO and 20 wt.% or less of CaF2, and also satisfying (the wt.% of MgO)/(the wt.% of SiO2 )
