    • PURPOSE: A beverage can is provided to achieve a simplified structure and cooling efficiency by controlling foam and internal pressure caused by the reaction product generated through an endothermic reaction. CONSTITUTION: A self-cooler(1) is arranged inside of a beverage can, wherein the self-container has a lower end serving as a chemical material reservoir(2) containing chemical materials for endothermic reaction. The self-cooler has a ring(3) arranged at the top of the self-cooler, and which forms a through hole(4), and removes the lower end of a water reservoir(5) and a baffle screen(6), when pulled. The water contained in the water reservoir flows into the chemical material reservoir through a passage pipe(7), and reacts with the chemical materials in the chemical material reservoir. Carbon dioxide and foam generated from such chemical reaction increase pressure in the chemical material reservoir, and shift to the water reservoir through a foam passage pipe(8). Subsequently, only the carbon dioxide is discharged from the water reservoir to outside through the through hole by a membrane(9) which discharges only gases. The residual water flows toward the chemical material reservoir through the passage pipe by the increased pressure in the water reservoir. The water reservoir has a slope inclined bottom plane for a smooth water flow, and the chemical material reservoir has a conical top so as to collect the carbon dioxide and foam generated during chemical reaction, thus increasing maximally internal pressure at the lower end portion of the chemical material reservoir and maintaining smooth water flow.

    • PURPOSE: A cooling can with cooling cartridge for drink cooling built in is provided to efficiently control inner pressure by gas generated on reaction with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A cooling cartridge(2) is installed in a drink can(1). The cooling cartridge comprises a water tank(4) and a reagent storage tank(3) packed with chemicals doing endothermic reaction or endothermic agent. A blocking stopper(8), a reaction starting device, is installed in a water passage(5). Water and carbon dioxide generated on reaction between water and chemicals move to the water tank through a space between the cooling cartridge and the water tank and foam passage(6) on an upper part of the water tank and is discharged through a penetrating hole(7) while part of the water and the carbon dioxide circulate to the cooling cartridge through the water passage. A blocking screen on the foam passage breaks by pressure of carbon dioxide. When a protection stopper(9) is removed, the blocking stopper is raised so that water in the water tank flows into the reagent storage tank.
