摘要： PURPOSE: A food waste treatment apparatus is provided to suppress the generation of bad smell during a food waste disposal process, to reduce the volume of the ejected food waste, and to be usable at home due to the compact size of the food waste treatment apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A food waste treatment apparatus comprises a hopper(20), a crushing unit(30), a compression and a dehydration unit(40) dehydrating a crushed object, a solid discharge valve, a dehydration discharge pipe, and a control unit(12). The compression and dehydration unit includes a supply pipe(41), a horizontal barrel, a pressing plate(43), a driving shaft(44), and a gear box(45). The supply pipe is positioned on the lower part of the crushing unit. The supply pipe is installed with an on-off valve on the upper part of the rear side. The horizontal barrel is connected to the supply pipe and formed with multiple discharge holes(424) on the lower part of the wall of the end part of the front side. The pressing plate is installed inside the horizontal barrel, pushes the crushed object flowing into an accommodation space to a pressing space of the front side in the accommodation space, and presses the crushed object. The driving shaft is connected to the back surface of the pressing plate. The gear box contains a part of the driving shaft to move the pressing plate back and forth by the use of a main motor. The solid discharge valve is installed on the lower part of the pressing space of the compression and dehydration unit to discharge the pressed solid material downwards.
