    • PURPOSE: A milking flowmeter and a flow measurement method are provided to thoroughly eliminate factors of bacterial infection and a breakdown in long-hour work, through the simplification of the inside of the flowmeter and the removal of a driving part. CONSTITUTION: In a milking flowmeter, air and milk are separated by a cylinder dome-type expansion part(1). The passing time of milk is measured by probes(3,5) installed vertically oppositely in an open-type passage. The individually milked amount is measured through the cumulative passing time and a correlation index. The milking flowmeter has inflow structure having inlet and outlet surfaces(7,10) cut with a slope of 45 degrees to gather and flow the milk, flowing in the cylinder dome-type expansion part, to the open-type passage.

    • PURPOSE: A flow meter for a milker with a simplified structure is provided to give more accurate information about milking needed for better, specific management of cows and thus, to reduce bacteria infection. CONSTITUTION: The flow meter for a milker includes a milking flow detector(10) installed at a transfer hose(36) through which milk passes; a milk flow display; a power supplier; and a measurer having a control switch. The milking flow detector(10) includes an oval shaped dome(12); a tilted bottom plate(14) at the lower part of the dome(12); a milk flow tube(30); upper and lower probes(20,22) positioned on the opposite sides from each other and passing through the centers of the dome(12) and the tilted bottom plate(14) to check the time that the milk passes the dome(12); and an exhaust pipe(35) for exhausting the milk.
