摘要： PURPOSE: A functional paint composition, a manufacturing method thereof, and a coating method using thereof are provided to enhance water resistance, fouling resistance, and fire resistance. CONSTITUTION: A functional paint composition comprises 100.0 parts by weight of water glass, 5-80 parts by weight of silane compound, 4-50 parts by weight of silicate, 5-100 parts by weight of magnesium hydroxide salt, and 50-300 parts by weight of water. The water glass is either sodium silicate based water glass or potassium silicate based silicate glass. The silane compound is added in as aqueous state and weight ratios of silane compound to water in the aqueous silane compound is 1:0.5 to 1:5. The silicate is added in as aqueous state and weight ratios of silicate to water in the aqueous silicate mixture is 1:0.5 to 1:5.

The water glass composition additionally comprises 2-12 parts by weight of boric acid compound aqueous solution of which weight ratio with water is 1:0.5-10.

The water glass is sodium silicate, potassium silicate, or mixture thereof. The composition additionally comprises acryl, aluminum salt, silicon, AMP, a phosphate compound, zinc oxide, inorganic pigment, CMC, butyl cellosolv, and anatrasol.
