摘要： PURPOSE: An emergency braking device of a multistage folding ladder for preventing an elevator from falling is provided to prevent falling accidents by strongly attaching a brake shoe to a ladder member through an elastic power and implementing a braking state. CONSTITUTION: An emergency braking device of a multistage folding ladder for preventing an elevator from falling comprises a driving plate, a rotation piece body (2), an upper part operation shaft (3), a first link section (5), a braking unit (200), a lower part operation shaft (4), an elastic unit (7), and a second link section (6). The braking unit comprises a braking shaft (210), a brake shoe (220), and a guide. The braking shaft is fixed to an end of the first link section. The brake shoe is joined to the braking shaft. Braking power using friction is generated by rotating the first link section and braking shaft connected to the upper part operation shaft, eccentrically rotating the braking unit, and attaching the braking unit to the outer surface of a ladder member (100).
