摘要： Disclosed is a waist protecting band that supports the lumbar part and wraps and fixes the waist so as to pressurize the muscles between the ribs and the pelvis and to support the lumbar of the waist thereby for even arrangement, so that the waist of a user can be protected and his/her lumbar can be corrected when the user wears the waist protecting band. The disclosed waist protecting band comprises: a waist belt having a waist support part that wraps and supports the waist, and an attachment part that has a Velcro part formed on the end thereof and is formed to be extended from the waist support part; and a spine support part that is formed in the center of the waist belt in order to be selectively attached and detached and so that the spine is pressurized and supported thereby. The spine support part comprises: a spine support plate that is made of aluminum material in order to be transformed in shape by means of an external force and includes a rectangular support plate and a spine pressurizing bar which is formed in a rod shape between a pair of slits formed at both sides on the inner center of the rectangular support plate so as to be transformed into a warped shape corresponding to the curvature of the lumbar vertebrae of a user; and a spine support plate covering that has the spine support plate penetrating therethrough and a Velcro part bonded on the rear surface thereof. The spine support plate is formed to be capable of being attached to and detached from the waist belt through the Velcro part on the spine support plate covering and the Velcro part on the waist belt.
