    • The present invention relates to a tire sealant and a manufacturing method thereof. The tire sealant comprises 35-95% of a solvent, 0.05-10% of PVA gel, 0.01-5% of closure particles, and 0.1-10% of an additive. The tire sealant can include 0.01-5% of chitosan gel. The method comprises: a step S1 of controlling precipitation in order to form gel materials suspended in a liquid medium, wherein polymer materials are dissolved in the gel materials; a step S2 of adding an additive to the liquid medium; and a step S3 of adding closure particles to the liquid medium including suspended gel materials. When the tire sealant and the manufacturing method thereof of the present invention are used, a puncture formed by a spike with a diameter of 6.35 mm or less can be sealed. Furthermore, a damaged hole can be repaired at a temperature of -40 to 70°C, and sealing can be maintained for 48 hours or more.

    • PURPOSE: An environment friendly sealant composition is provided to have excellent storage stability because less precipitates are formed at long-term storage, and to seal puncture of which diameter is smaller than 6.35 mm for long time. CONSTITUTION: An environment friendly sealant composition comprises liquid carrier, a viscosity agent, and suspending agent, flexible and rigid form fillers, and additives. A manufacturing method of the sealant composition comprises: a step of controlled precipitation for forming flexible suspended material of gel from liquid medium, after dissolving solid particles by a chemical method; a step of adding various solid particles into the gel suspension by a controlled and effective mixing method; and a step of adding the additives into the sealant composition.
