摘要： PURPOSE: A film connecting apparatus is provided to consecutively manufacture polarizers and improve productivity as a PVA film is steadily connected to the new PVA film when the PVA(Poly Vinyl Alcohol) film is used up. CONSTITUTION: A film connecting apparatus comprises an upper frame(300), a lower frame(400), and a lifter. The upper frame cuts a used film(111) and fuses a part of the cut film. The lower frame corresponds to the upper frame and is installed on the lower part of the upper frame. The lower frame cuts the used films and a standby film(121). The lower frame fuses a part of the cut standby film. The lifter lifts one between the upper and lower frames to press the cut portion of the used film and the cut portion of the standby film.
