摘要： The present invention relates to a method of cutting a quartz crucible, which is provided to cut an upper end area of an opening of a quartz crucible quickly and accurately. According to the present invention, provided is the method of cutting a quartz crucible comprising: a step for providing the quartz crucible for a work table in a state that an opening of the quartz crucible, which will be processed, faces a ground; a step for adjusting the center in left and right direction of the quartz crucible on the work table; a step for holding an outer wall of the quartz crucible; a step for adjusting a location of up and down direction of the quartz crucible in order to decide a cutting location of the quartz crucible; and a cutting step for cutting a cutting area of the quartz crucible. The cutting step includes: a step for horizontally transferring a cutting blade, which is arranged in an inside space of the quartz crucible; a step for measuring torque of a first driving motor, which horizontally transfers the cutting blade, in real time; a step for finishing a horizontal transfer of the cutting blade when the torque of the first driving motor has a bigger value than a pre-set first set torque; and a step for cutting the cutting area by rotating the cutting blade.
